OUR SERVICES

  • We co-create fellowship and internship programs with those that are looking to invest in local talent and build capacity for their organization. We create and tailor the programmatic design elements to your organization’s strengths.

  • We support organizations through individual coaching and training sessions. We focus on building soft skills that are foundational to leadership and thriving systems.

  • We grow initiatives that diversify the economy with industries that support kamaʻāina to thrive. To fight brain drain, we activate opportunities that allow for career growth with a focus on advancing careers in tech, creative media, sustainability, and culture.

  • We’re actively seeking partnerships with values-aligned individuals and organizations who share our passion for diversifying the economy and driving systems change in Hawaiʻi.

    Our work currently focuses on sustainability and climate change, tech-based workforce development, digital equity and inclusion, and creative industries.

    We’re also looking for partners to establish new internship, apprenticeship, and/or fellowship programs designed to grow and diversity the industries listed above.

OUR CURRENT INITIATIVES

  • Kealakehe ʻŌpio Career Pathways

    Kealakehe High School is transitioning to a Career & Technical Education learning model. ʻEwalu Industries is working to connect the students to work-based learning opportunities that help them build real-world skills in partnership with local employers.

  • Fellowships

    Establishing fellowship programs that work on building resilience in Hawaiʻi by addressing our emerging environmental and social challenges. These programs add capacity within organizations, and government agencies, while acting as launchpad career opportunity for local youth.

  • Digital Equity Expansion Program

    Digital literacy is a necessary component to access fundamental services in the 21st century, and upskilling Hawaiʻi’s workforce with digital skills is becoming increasingly important across many industries. Our 2023 program focuses on Computers 001 classes with instructor Kaʻala Souza in N. Kohala, Hilo, and Kona on the Big Island.

  • Lead for Hawaiʻi Alumni Program

    Graduates of the Lead for Hawaiʻi Fellowship program and Lead For America’s American Connection Corps program receive continued support for their personal and professional leadership development as they continue to serve Hawaiʻi communities.
