The ʻŌpio Internship Program is a work-based learning opportunity designed for our ʻōpio (ages 16+) to increase knowledge and skills in a desired career field, improve employability, and to build a network of contacts.

HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS
The ʻŌpio Internship Program begins with students applying to internships that align with their academic pathways. After applications are submitted, ʻEwalu Industries facilitates a thorough placement process with industry partners, ensuring each student is matched with an internship host mentor that suits their goals. During their internships, students not only gain industry-specific experience but also develop and apply relevant knowledge and skills that enhance their academic and professional growth.
